For my reason I got to watching Pavlik over and over and studying him in his bigger fights -and he would have won as clearly as anyone could if he were himself. He was right in position but just could'nt get off period. I hope Pavlik says to bernard (as their kinda tight)assuming Hopkins won't ever give him a rematch come spar with me.

Yeah, Pavlik didn't exactly want to apply plans B, C, D, E, F, and Z simply because he had respect for Hopkins' age. He just "donated" that win out of pure respect.

His real excuse is that he couldn't handle a guy with great movement and great ring smarts.

Also, if this excuse doesn't make sense, team Pavlik already provided 10 others. Just pick any other and start a new thread.

I personally would stick to reality...

I haveonly heard one rumour that comes from a reliable source:

A lot (and we are talking A LOT!) of money moved the bookie market on this fight. A semi-secret bettng house 'Dietrological' along with several major Asian insiders are apparently involved. Hardly anyone knows about Dietrological although it is the Rolls Royce of betting - even 99.9999% of betters have never heard the name before. Rumours on the street are that Hopkins-Pavlik was a fixed fight. The newspaper The Telegraph are apparently (rumours, but remember this when we hea more later) a series of articles using undercover journalists. This fight apparently is one of the key events.
