It's really a hard questionas they are roughly in the same position,as much as I don't like it...probably Mayweather...but by a hair

both could have made a hell of a lot better decisions if they dared and wanted to be remembered as better fighters. but as far as resumes go floyd pisses it in and so has to take it.

I'm a Calzaghe fan, but I still have to go with Floyd. Joe would need about 2 more quality wins to make it a closer call. Both had potential greater than what they look like on paper, however...which is saying something, because neither has a terrible resume regardless of what gets thrown around.

What is the argument for ranking Calzaghe higher?

He has nothing over Mayweather that warrants a higher placing. Both are great fighters, but it is definitely Floyd.

PBF never beat someone at the level of Hopkins or Jones
(guys who are higher than him in the ATG status) and
never was truly indisputably undisputed at any weight ... was he?

Got to go with Mayweather... to win titles in 5 weight divisions is some achievement tho Calzaghe is also a great fighter, no question.
