a real fight would be floyd v leonard, cuevas, hearns, trinidad, benitez, cuevas all at welter. matweather not boxed at middle so don't know v hagler (or jones). at lightwelter chavez v floyd would have been magic.
You should now better , if anyone saying that floyd can beat pavlik and Taylor at 160 , is saying so to **** with you .. when floyd himself stated that his limit was 147 - 154 would be stretching it..
Mayweather would outbox Hagler and then ko him in the late rounds easily with a nasty check hook (ala Hatton) that would knock Marvin out cold
SRL's defense is not as good as Floyd's and he survived I'm pretty sure Floyd will survive too. It will not be good to watch that is for sure.
1) That was not a prime Hagler who fought Leonard 2) Leonard had better movement, at 160, than Mayweather has at 147 3) Mayweather has never fought at 160 4) Leonard had a better chin (and a more proven one) from 147 and above. 5) Leonard had faster hands, especially in combination. 6) Mayweather couldn't deal with Hagler's power and he would be hit. That's a sure thing. Being more stationary than he is at 147 coupled with a good amount of time spent on the ropes looking for counter shots isn't going to serve him well. Plus, he'd have more trouble hitting Hagler than vice versa and Hagler's right jab would render Floyd docile. Hagler by Knockout.
