PBF VS Hatton Revisited

Oh yes I remember it well. Cortez landed a big overhand left on Hatton and put him to sleep. Floyd was on his still watching them fight.

In all seriousness Floyd beat Hatton.

But Cortez was atrocious that night.

 

Hatton was excellent for the first couple of rounds, more so on the outside, on the inside he was brutally exposed throughout.

it was a schooling, Hatton didn't do much

 

Floyd didn't look very comforatble atall at the beggining of the fight, but mid way found out how to beat Hatton, easily.

 

Cortez was definately the main factor in Floyd winning that fight. Apart from those accurate rights May was landing, and apart from matching Hatton on the inside, and apart from Mayweather rarely missing with his jabs, and apart from Mayweather rarely ever getting hit......I think Hatton was having him

 

Wise up....PBF destroyed Hatton all fite no bother ur just makin up evcuses for Hatton...he fought the wrong fite and thats that

I remember the good ol' days of thinking Hatton lost the fight to Cortez, was doing well, and that if he got a rematch in Wembley he wouldn't have to deal with Cortez and would have a good chance.

Oh how naive I was...

 

The old Juan Manuel Marquez trick there?

 

What fight were you watching. The ref is suppose to break the fighters if theres just holding, mauling, grappling. The effective punches on the inside were by floyd. Hatton just grappled and held you can probaly count on one hand the number of effective punches Hatton landed on the inside.:good

Cortez won it.

Cortez was the one outfighting Hatton on both the inside and outside.

Hatton was doing a great job at missing Cortez and hitting his arms and shoulders while Cortez landed the cleaner punches all night long.

Harold Lederman once again showed how he favors the aggressor, even if the aggressor is the one eating most of the clean punches rather than landing them. He even had Hatton and Cortez even after 7 rounds.
