Blood tests are used to detect higher counts of red blood cells, which is a suspicious sign of doping. Blood testing is also cheaper than running urinaysis tests for the many kinds of EPO. The costs would be enormous when say you have to test 10,000 Olympic Athletes. Once you find a high red blood cell count, only a urine test can directly detect EPO, as in what the WADA website is trying to tell your slow minded self. EPO manufacturers have already beaten blood testing as it can't be directly detected using that method. Now you're going to tell me "the new breed" of EPO can no longer be detected by urine tests but now has gone backwards as it can now be directly detected using blood tests? Get a college degree.
