If he goes in grappling heavy he has a decent shot, his leg kick defense terrible. I think his best bet is to fight the first two rounds on the feet wrestle 3-5 rounds as alex gets gassier.
I would try to do what Makhachev does usually - establish the standup, assess the distance, and then suddenly take the opponent down. Lull Pereira into a state of false confidence, and then shock him. The earlier Pereira has to deal with the ground game, the better for Analaev. This doesn´t mean that he should be spamming takedowns. But he has to wear down the older man.

Pereira is special, he’s a once in a generation sort of guy, I wouldn’t pick anyone at LHW to beat him atm, but at the age he’s at, he could age overnight.
Maybe, but Alex has made adjustments since the izzy fight. And Magomed has only koed the two most chiniest fighters in the division . i can only see him winning with wrestling or very low output point fight if he doesn’t get his legs eaten up.
