pernell whitaker cheat ???

i dont think it's in the wba though so i can see why it is a bit confusing

 

Does Unified Rules eliminate this rule?

 

It's illegal, and it's intended to prevent fighters from getting hit on the back of the head.

 

Maybe because it looks more fluid with an athletic type fighter doing it and harder to pick up. I also find *slick fighters are allowed to use holding more than any other type of fighter as a deliberate tactic.

The opponents of those who duck below the waist should be allowed to hit behind the head at such moments.

That would put a stop to it.
