Mine is the fact that judges hardly ever give 10-8 rounds unless there is a knock down! You can barely outjab a guy and it's scored 10-9. Next round you dominate completely; guess what, 10-9! Use the available points, ffs!

I hate how its become part of boxing to hold & clinch, I can understand if a guys hurt & he's trying to survive but you've got guys doing it from round one & the refs turn a blind eye to it like its ok. The Akexander v Maidana fight is a prime example.

Forgetting when some judges should be kicked in the balls/vulva for hours because "the right man won". Like we should be grateful that some insane/corrupt jerkoff didn't get to screw over one of the fighters because the other two judges were okay. Way too often people don't care about bad cards unless they decide the outcome. I hate that. There should've been an uproar about Froch/Ward being close on any card but "the right man won" crowd was the majority again.

Scared woman running into police station: Officer, a guy just tried to **** me!
Police officer: Tried? You mean he didn't?
Woman: No, I sprayed him with pepper spray. You have to catch him! He's-
Police officer: Whoa, whoa, whoa, at least there was no ****. That's the important thing. Let's not have a hissy fit, young lady. Nothing happened. You've got to accentuate the positive. Here, listen to this song. (♩ Don't mess with Mr. In-Between ♩)
Woman: Put your headphones away! What if he tries to **** someone else and succeeds?
Police officer: You like to dwell, don't you? :verysad
Woman: I'm really upset right now, and don't want to veer off the subject at hand, but how the hell did you just speak an emoticon?
Police officer: I hang out on ESB a lot, ma'am. :hat

Yh more even rounds would at least be understandable. Also, wen ppl say "he didnt rip the title off the holder" like mathematics on cards doesnt count

Yep. The first round is often a feeling out round that could go either way and I often think 10-10 score would be suitable in these cases

i agree with much said about the judging, traditional style is lame instead of simple objectivity and realism. i also hate runners, compulsive clinchers, cheap shot artists and boring big mouth defensive assholes.

Another one is when refs give an 8 count, might take 3-5 seconds to check the gloves, get him to walk forward etc which is understandable and then push the other fighter back to the neutral corner before starting it again. I counted in a fight once there was a count of like 18secs, by the time the ref sent one guy back to the neutral corner etc.

Another one is when a guy is announced as a former world champion if he won an interim or regular belt or one of those type belts.

Or a guy who gets beaten is suddenly a worthless bum, exposed, glass-chinned etc. That imo is worse than the knee jerk reaction of over-rating a fighter who has just had a good victory.

Obviously *****s, *******s and all biased and/or stupid fans are annoying, I guess they might be classified as a pet hate.

The automatic opinion that safety first fighters are the more skilled ones. They play off their opponents aggression because they know that when they are aggressive it creates the opportunities for them. The more skilled fighters should be viewed as the ones who successfully create the opportunities for themselves...much harder to do.

Regular Titles! being passed as a world title or it's a world title fight. No it isn't IF there is a WBA champion that's it what because he is good enough to make a couple of defenses now theirs another WBA Title. It's a trinket belt that for some reason a few rate as a world title. If your a Regular or Interim belt holder your Not! a world champion.

My pet hate in boxing at the moment is the endless threads about Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacqiou that seem to dominate the general forum on this site.
