Seems like alot to me. Peter will be breathing hard ala Briggs after 3 rounds. I hope Peter loses and fades away along with Duva and DK
You are so right. Win the belt like the others do and you can show it off. Makes me sick that the WBC allowed Don King and Duva to put pressure and handed Peter a belt. Team peter (Duva) has been whinning and crying about everything for 2 years now. I guess if you whine loud enough and cry hard enough they just hand you the championship WBC should be ASHAMED!!!!!!!!!
Toney was slow as hell for that fight. The fight was to a snails pace in the later rounds. To say Peter lasted all 12 is not accurate. Yes, he did last 12....but not much was happening in the later rounds. If McCline moves...Peter could be in trouble in the later rounds
I did see the fight, he threw a lot of punches and some fast combinations and kept it relatively consistent, it was a first. McCline is shot and people giving him a chance are the ones who underrate Sam Peter in my opinion, the same people pick old man Maskaev with his glass jaw and slow legs.:yep
McClines' movement is terrible and he's injured/shot at this point. Let's all wake up and realise this at the very least.
Peter not fighting Chris Bryd here, hes fighting a stationary target in Mccline, which will allow him not to use up energy in the ring trying to follow him around. Peter deserves the title as much as anyone else, he had to wait around for that puss Maskaev to back out and him the title. I guess Lewis didnt deserve the belt when Bowe pussed out and wouldnt fight him, all that matters is the belts in the right hands now.
I think we all feel that McCline has a slim chance at best. But what I see more and more is people pulling for McCline becuse they don't like peter and his team. Its not rooting for McCline to WIN...its rooting for Peter to LOSE
Agreed. If McCline stands in front of Peter the fight will be over quick. If he moves Peter will have a hard time. I think Peter is going to come out like the Peter of old...looking for that 1 big shot (in the back of the head ha ha ha) and that might be trouble for Peter A slow, hurt knee, McCline can still move better than Peter
He smothered his punches when he had Wlad on ***** street, hes now more experienced. No fighter ever knocked Toney out, Peter was the closest to doing so, great heavywieghts like Rahman, Ruiz, or Holyfield couldnt do it either.
Peter is only about 6 foot or maybe 6-1 250 is way to much lard to carry around for a 12 round fight, for Sams sake he better hope he get's Mccline out of there early before he gets gassed and starts huffing and puffing, damn man why are so many guy's coming in overweight these day's???:-( how about training more and staying away from the Nachos?, forget about putting money on Peter, he should be in the 230's Props to Golata for coming in at 240, that's what he weighed when he smacked Bowe all over the ring 11 years AGOatsch , at almost 40 seems like the old guy's have an easier time making it to the gym than the TWENTYSOMETHINGS!!
Im perdicting mid round stoppage, I agree he should of been able to finish Wlad off when he had him hurt, but if you watch the fight Peter rarely hit Wlad flush with many shots. Toney is a extremely hard to knockout for any fighter in the division, he hardly gets hit flush.
