    2019 he retired? Man he had a good career. I remember him way back from The Contender series. Did he lose to Mora in the final? **** I love that show. He had some big battles with Calzaghe, Lacy, a few others.

    42 wins, losses, 1 draw. That's a good journey over a long one. Gotta be proud.

    I remember sugar ray lenord predicting manfredo to ko calzaghe, what a wally!

    All in all the first season contender guys didnt become greats but some had decent careers. Sergio Mora turned out best, Ishe smith second.
    I remember reading manfredo working this bluecollar job to get by post retirement. Guy gave me rocky balboa vibes in a way. He got beaten badly by calzaghe, lacy, bika and chavez jr but had the the career of many fighters. Not that bad and good enough to get a shot but not good enough to win

    I remember watching this series and Stallone was blowing chunks after doing a bit of training in the ring :)

    He was a decent fighter. I thought he would have given Calzaghe a better fight though.
