I agree the stoppage was fair.

 

Good fight, both fighters did what they do...it went the way it should.

 

I don't know how anyone could have thought that Oleg was going to win tonight. He has had one fight (against a C level opponent for the money in his home country) and has sat on the title since then for the past 15 months.

 

These guys are ****ing crackheads. The stoppage was late if anything.....WTF..Maskaev was out on his feet on one side of the ring. Got knocked all the way to the other side of the ring DEFENSLESS....then Peter got off three hard flush power shots..You dont **** around with big punchers you boxing ******s..How long you been watching fights..these aint ****ing lightweights...atsch

Maskaev was fairly stopped. One of the major rules in boxing is that if a man is taking unanswered flush punches the ref has the right to stop the fight. And he did.

Maskaev was well on his way to getting knocked the **** out. He was being beaten on counters and that is BAD NEWS against Sammy.

 

Oleg seemed terrified the entire time, I think he did his best....oooh well..
