i agree too that is not bad at all, a contained clear tune like a singer at a local restaurant. larry holmes, joe frazier and i think earnie terrell enjoyed singing on stage too not to mention roberto duran.
i posted this vid on youtube a few years ago & most people seem to think that thomas was a horrible singer.... Its good that pinkLon liked to sing, but he should have been training for this fight instead of singing.... he went on to get schooled by Trevor Berbick.
i think pink had a lot of talent. he beat a peak witherspoon who a lotta people rate. I think the "lost generation" were all very talented. thomas, witherspoon, dokes, page and coetzee were all prety equal they could all beat the other 5 out of 10 times. thomas spread himself too thin though, he was managing himself, managing other fighters and cutting records whilst he should have been 100% focused on being the WBC champion.
I thought Thomas was good, never on the level of Dokes or Page, but close.He held his own against Coetzee, and hit the top beating Witherspoon, but the drugs took over, and he fell off afterwards, a couple of years too early.
