Hed definitely ko Cotto and Berto. Margo and Williams would be tougher but he would probably take them too.
Margarito & Williams can be hit. that would be thier undoing. Cotto would put up a good fight early, but crumble under the pressure late. Berto would use his speed & boxing ability to score & not exchange. but lose big points late. He might hold on till the final bell ,for a points loss.
I agree with you about Margo,Williams and how your views on how a Cotto fight would turn out but i think your giving to much credit to Berto. Im not impressed with him at all and i dont think his chin is that great either as ive seen him hurt by not so big punchers. Berto would look good for about 4 rounds then:dead:dead Cuevas would put the lights out in 5. A Berto fight would be the easiest the others give him a tough time but like you said their leaky defense would be their undoing. And Cottos isnt resilient enough to last the distance.
I don't see Berto as anything other than a good fighter with elite speed. He doesn't impress me much either. He's possibly the weakest link in the champion chain at welterweight. I still think Mosley murders him now.
Cuevas was like a Mexican version of a Tito Trinidad, but not as tall. He would swing for the fences like no other and if anyone didn't stop him from doing that, it was going to be a very short night or a long one for his opponent. I think Margarito and Berto both would of had some effect as they both like to land uppercuts, but I don't know how they would handle hook after hellacious hook from Cuevas. Cotto and Williams would be most successful as they can fight very good at a distance and might be able to keep him of them for a while. One hook lands on them and they would be in serious trouble though. Williams is a very good fighter, but he is no Tommy Hearns.
I think he beats all of them. All those guys take too many punches for a guy who hit as hard as Cuevas. Thing is Hearns hit Cuevas clean before Cuevas could land anything. The guys who would beat Cuevas are the guys with speed who are defensive like Mayweather or Delahoya with his jab. Both those guys would have probably won decision over Cuevas, but I could see Cuevas scoring a knockout over Oscar for some reason. Cuevas was a little like Duran, if you sat there and fought him you were in trouble, but if you used speed and combinations and didn't get into their fight you did better.
I have always thought about this...Could you imagine if Cuevas had tagged Tommy's chin with one of his monstrous left hooks??? and yeah, im gonna have to say that Pipino beats all these guys, all by KO..i dont think even Margo's chin would survive Cuevas...margo gets hit waay too much, and would get KOed somewehre around the 9th or 10th me thinks.

Cuevas is the most overrated WW of all time, monster power but he's slow, easy to hit and easy to outbox, he may well lose to all those 4, maybe he ko's a couple of them though, no chance he beats Williams though
Willams isnt the hardest person to hit by any means...and i dont think he could go the distance without getting tagged by some of Cuevas' left hooks.
Martinez is by no means any faster than Cuevas was. He was able to tag & hurt Williams, repeatedly. Paul wouldn't recover from a Cuevas left hook. No way.
