if Mosely is shot to ribbons and Pac vs Mosely is bull****, then why should Mayweather get any credit for beating Sugar? or was he shot immeadiately after Money?
We, the fans, and Mayweather, didn't know Mosley was shot before the fight. We had the Margarito destruction before us, to tell us Mosley was a very much live opponent. But now - two awful fights later - we know too well how far past his peak Mosley is. If Pac was to choose him now, it'll open the floodgates for criticism, and rightfully so.
Floyd exposed that he was shot. Why else did he take the fight. he knew Mosleys best days were behind him. Took the fight and it showed.

he looked good in his fight before Money, but that was 15 months previous. The guy was a 7 to 1 underdog for a reason against Money. He was old and getting beat up in sparring. So no credit for Money, and there'll be no credit for Manny should he beat him.
i told people to use the ole brother naz adage before floyd/shane....the one he used before shane/margs...."if hes a beast...then let him be a beast on sunday too".....basically declare your feelings on shane before floyd fights him.....and while there were a few who mentioned the layoff and some concerns about shane.....most felt shane was a legit fight for floyd....and most were ejaculating when shane rocked him.....then they wanted to say shane just stopped throwing punches cause he was gassed.....too funny
Floyd gets credit for actually taking the fight, when Pac wouldn't. Was Shane shot going into the fight? Probably. The thing is, Floyd fought him after his total annihilation of Cheato, while Pac would be fighting him after 2 horrible losses.
Shane's shotness is pretty ****ing questionable. Every bit as much as Margarito was built for Mosley to destroy, Mosley was built to be out-boxed by Floyd and spoiled to an unsatisfying conclusion by Mora. Pacquiao doesn't fight anything like either of those two guys and styles make fights. I suspect this is far more dangerous for Pacquiao than people here are making it out to be. But, you don't know until it's over. Either way, Mayweather should have fought Mosley when he did and if he didn't people would be on his ass about not fighting him. Stylisticly we already know what is going to happen. Mosley was frozen, shaking his hands and afraid to swing against Floyd because that was Mosley's first time in the ring with someone faster than him. It will be the same against Pac but more of an ass whipping. Roach knows this and it's got nothing to do with mosley being shot. Mosley will go in there throw down with any other guys. If Mosley is fighting anyone, It should be Berto. I think Berto would whip him too but Berto has some problems like being hurt to the body and always making fights gritty from being undiscipline when a fight goes deep. That's the only reason I think it would be entertaining. Pac should be fighting either Berto, Martinez or JMM if not floyd.
There it is. That is the truth. Roach basicly said they where not ready for Mosley, but now that there is no question that he is shot, they are thinking about fighting him. Same thing with Margo, after Pac beat DLH Roach said they were not rady for a fight with Margo. But after he got crushed by Mosley, had a long lay off and looked ineffective against Garcia. Then they take that fight. What happened with the days where Prime fighter wanted to prove themselves against prime fighters? and not wait till someone looks vulnerable?
Whatever happened to the days where fighters looked vulnerable because they actually challenged themselves against other good fighters and not because they were shot to **** every time they didn't look like a beast?
i think the year layoff with back to back training camps led to him being shot or atleast his body was fried up never seen shane huffing and puffing the way he was against mayweather and mora it was rediculous how he was gapsing for air after 5 rounds in both when he hurt floyd and showed no ability to finish him off, (khan coulda survived that round 2 after the 2nd huge right hand) i think he realised he was ****ed and mentally gave up more fight he looked like rap and was sloppy if he can catc pac he may hurt him, but he aint ko'ing him and he aint got the tank anymore to last 12 rounds with pacquiao mayweather completely outworked him with just a jab
Hey, Paul Williams fought against Martinez and got put to sleep. No one was saying Paul was shot and that was why Martinez was able to starch him. They were two top prime fighter.
