Those shots Roy took were vicious... He honestly should have stayed down after the first uppercut that knocked him down.. He was already gassed and stood no chance at that point.

:good Fighters, most of them anyways, tend to fight long past their best before date. I honestly wish Jones would have retired shortly after the Ruiz fight. I still consider him the most gifted athlete (him and Ali) to ever step into the ring. In his prime he was absolutely amazing.

He's trying to end up like Gerald McClellan apparently.

I think it will be, or I least I hope so.

He isn't done yet though. He won't retire on a loss.

Its so sad. He was actually landing some decent shots until the 4th round when he looked totally gassed. He is there to be hit and has been for some time. Enzo has really good power. I knew this would end bad for Roy.

No one can question Roy's heart though... He is a fighter.

He's just too slow and heavy.

In that great article I posted you yesterday, it was noted that he hasn't done any proper roadwork for years because of his knees.

When I watched him hit the pads on Friday, I didn't even want to watch the fight.

He normally still looks okay in training. But he looked awful.

Thank God he didn't get the Huck or Glowacki fight he wanted, we'd be mourning him tonight if he did.
