Pretty huge upsets. Maybe Porky wasnt 100% mentally after the recent death of his good mate but he wont be looking to use that as an excuse im sure. Gostellow losing is a massive massive upset. I rated him as a top prospect but the fact he had been stopped before proved he was vulnerable. Congrats to Tim Bell, in sensational form at the moment.
Nice result for Tui Leveni as well. Someone who often goes a bit under the radar but worth keeping an eye on. Also has not been kept protected at all in his limited pro career.
im very suprised by the 2 main fights results, gostellow now surely isnt going to be anything more then a regional belt fighter, great skill set and speed just maybe not enough chin..... and porky seen 2/ 3 of his fights before and thought he was going good but now this is a big setback..... atleast these are tough fights guys need to take so that they can build....
Big Upstes tonight. Bell was there to fight and maintained constant pressure. He turned it into a bit of a wrestle making porky fight his fight. Porky looked gone at the end of the 7th and looked like he wasn't coming out for the eighth. Well done by Jimmy to stop it when he did.
Rock i know its no excuse but when Woods fought Tarver he had just lost a close mate the same week , Woods was well below par that night , it ain't an excuse but it can't help . Something tells me Clint ain't done yet either, i would have enjoyed a Woods v Green fight but it looks further away than ever now , what a scrap that would have been :deal

I was there. It was very plush. 5 star venue and great meal. Very entertaining card of fights. The atmosphere during the main fight was electric. I think ring side was $250 but I was there by invitation by Brian Amatruda. I congratulate them on a brilliant promotion.
Sounds like they can fit about 1500 table seats in - were they all filled? Saw young Tim Hunt win two fights at Thomastown & Coburg and he looked promising. Notice he got sat down in round 1 and lost on SD. How did he look and where do you think he's at CLip?

The place was full. Not sure exactly how many but at least that many. As for Tim I thought he was dragged into a brawl and seemed to forget his boxing skills. He admitted as much to me today. He'll bounce back from this loss but needs to fight smarter if he is to make it.
:huh When exactly did I write him off? Porky has lost before and has actually seemed to come back better everytime, thats something you dont always see. I was just saying he doesnt seem like the kind of bloke who would try and take away Bell's credit by saying that was the reason he lost.
