The path porter has taken since brook. He will have fought a nobody then broner then thurman. Brooks path Gavin, Dan and bizier. You would have thought porter was the winner of the fight. Brook needs to go to America if he doesn't get Khan after bizier.
Props to the guys for signing this fight. That's how you start the year! Khan and Kell need to pull their fingers out. This is a 50/50 fight, IMO. Porter's style is all wrong for Thurman, but Thurman's power could make Porter's style work against him.
Definitely picking Porter to outhustle and outwork Thurman over 12rds to a close but clear UD. Do not think Thurman ever wanted the fight- may put some money on this one
I've not seen anything to suggest this is 100 percent signed? Anyway, good fight if so. Porter isn't afraid to take anyone on which is nice to see. Not really sold on Thurman to be honest; think he is good but not much above that. I'll back Porter on points but won't be surprised if it goes the other way
Thurman's power is quite overrated - he's less powerful than Brook IMO. Don't get me wrong, he's a very good fighter, but nowhere near being the "welterweight GGG" as some (not you) seem to have bought. Yeah, it's a 50/50. Probably a very ugly fight that I'm slightly leaning towards Thurman to take.
