I do agree with other posts porter has looked very average in most fights except the alexander one and now he is meant to be great? No one thought he was that good before
good post. the Yanks have lost their mind over the last 10 or so years. most, if not nearly all, fail to live up to the expectations they have for the overrated guff they have representing them in the ring. it's actually quite sad to watch. but hey, they do it to themselves. it's their own fault.
we know he's good. but the question is... how good? but bringing Porter into it is just silly. Brook wins that all day.
I agree he seems good but can he take the next step i hope this year we will find out. Porter may suit him too he comes forward and isn't a big puncher so maybe brook can unload on him but brook needs to be fitter than ever . Alexnder would have run and made it hard and frustrating. I like brook to stop porter late
and my opinion hasn't changed about him. he's average. nothing will ever change that. not even the deluded posts from his fellow country men who are crying out for someone to step up and prove instead of failing all the time and making a mockery out of their opinions.
the fight could have happened next but for Porter messing around. hopefully we don't have to wait for much longer. the fitness of Brook seems to have been fixed. well, as best as it can be anyway. he's taking it far more seriously these days. the Jones fight was a wake up call that Brook answered.
yeah right i kno everyone on there momma was lovin it when broner got beat up. and for wilder we all know the dude hasnt fought a real fighter. after berto got popped for roids i kno alot of people said screw him like me. an after that failed test the dude hasnt won. lacy was a legit hypejob tho lol
I am British myself, and I do like Brook....however, as I mentioned in the original post, as much as I would like to think that he could beat Porter, I just see Porters strength and propensity to fight on the inside being the kind of combination that will unsettle Brook. He has shown heart, however - and with it being his first world title clash with the hope of a nation on his shoulders, he will no doubt dig deep and give as good as he gets...but I see this favouring Porter PERSONALLY. Either way, I think that with Brooks heart it will be a great, spirited clash - and I am looking forward to it. I like both fighters, so will be glad to see them face off.
