If Spence decides to duck a Porter rematch, Crawford should try and get a fight with Porter. Porter seems like a guy that will fight anybody. It would be a fight where Crawford could have a sort of measuring stick, as Porter is a legit top three welter, and arguably beat Spence. Arum would just have to make Porter a nice offer.

Yeah that would be a fight I'd like to see and as you say, a chance for Crawford to put a marker down in comparison to Spence.

It would be interesting to see how crawford deals with the physicality of porter. I am a bit dubious on the punch resistance of crawford because of the gamboa fight, this fight would probably answer a lot of questions about crawford

Crawford has much better handspeed and timing then Spence and would’ve put a serious hurting on Porter for all of those wide punches he was throwing. Crawford wouldn’t have let Porter get away with throwing such wide punches throughout the fight as long as Spence did. Porter also needs to get more disciplined about keeping his hand up and pace himself a little better, since he ran out of steam in the later rounds and was constantly wide open for counter lefts.

Porter has the tools to beat Crawford and even had the tools to beat Spence, but his bad habit getting sloppy late in fights is something he needs to work on. This habit of getting sloppy as the fight gets into the later rounds also cost him against Brook.

I mean how is it ducking when he can fight a new opponent vs rematching Porter which I don’t mind. But if you say he’s ducking Porter I have to say Porter can rematch Ugas cause that was closer than Spence Porter that also means GGG ducked Jacobs haha

I disagree. I feel that Porter beat Spence, more than he beat Ugas.

Why would he fight Porter's leftovers, instead of rematching Porter?

It's actually a very good question. Where does Porter go from here?

Spence not going to be in a hurry to make a rematch after losing a pound of flesh.

Garcia is almost certainly fighting Spence next.

Thurman wants an easy comeback fight and then he's maybe likeliest for a Pac rematch.

Pac targeting Mikey Garcia next and then he's out of his PBC contract and probably targeting Khan.

Brook won like 8 rounds boxing against Porter, Crawford would do better and without the holding.

I think Crawford would beat him more convincingly than spence did.

Crawford beats Spence too And I have no doubt about that.

Not sure about it being easy, but it would definitely be Crawford's best opponent to date.

Crawford probably takes a decision 8-4ish.
I'm not positive he'd drop Porter but I wouldn't be surprised

Yes please think that’s the best fight for Crawford if Spence isn’t happening and let’s face it after that fight he ain’t going to rush into another big fight soon, who would? It’s sensible not to
