    a quick question.

when you dominate a division and you win the wbc, wbo, ibf, wba etc.. and you go up to a different division, do you have to give up the belts? or you get to keep them.

HWs are unlucky - they can't move up and gain credit after cleaning out the division. Guess thats why they don't clean up.

Once you are top p4p fighter you don't need any belt anymore and you get big fights all the time.

Look on Tarver, Jones, Hopkins, Wright, PAC, Hatton, Tito ... they have no betlts and they still fight for big purses.

And the actual belt holders, who are the champions, in effect become the challengers to these p4p names, who can accept or decline or name the price. Don't know if that's good or bad, but at least the p4p names have freed themselves from the tyranny and whim of the ABCs. :happy

The promoters know many won't find the fight worth going out of your house for to watch right at the venue. So there's PPV. :huh

I beg to differ, the fight is in MSG. And Tito has a lot of fans, and there is a lot of people that follow Tito here in NYC. It will b a sold out fight. Just like the Cotto vs. Zab fight. The stans will b filled to capacity

I hope you're right. If time could be wound back to when both fighters were in their prime and really attracted great crowds without trying, the stands would no doubt be filled to capacity. But well, this is the era of great and lucrative comebacks. Hopefully you're right.
