Mariusz Wach, Christian Hammer, Andriy Rudenko, Hughie Fury..... and Michael Hunter. Oh yeah, and Tyson Fury, and Andy Ruiz Jr. and Oleksandr Usyk.
Well the first three were, Hughie was just too slick to be hit clean, but if he was, I doubt he could take it. Tyson would probably go down, and Usyk would be shook up, maybe his knee might touch, Ruiz would smile and keep coming.
Whyte isn't the most durable or elusive guy but that shot would have leveled Hammer. Don't need speak in regards to Wachs durability - he can eat any shot. Hunter was hurt by Povetkin a few times but he might have been able to take that one without going out. Rudenko is pretty durable never down to my knowledge and I don't think Hughie would get caught with an uppercut like that so who knows whether he would have taken it or not. It was a hell of a shot in short, it drops or badly buzzes most guys even if it doesn't starch them outright like it did Whyte.
LOL fair enough. I honestly think if Povetkin landed that exact punch on any top heavyweight TODAY, not of all time, it would have at least dropped them heavily. Maybe not out cold like Whyte, but a man that size hitting you that clean, that powerfully, I don't see a heavyweight today just shaking that off and staying on the their feet.
I agree, the more times I watch that uppercut the better it looks, was a hell of a shot from Povetkin.
