How many points would you give Povetkin if he beat his predicssor to the Olympic throne?

If Povetkin beats Byrd and then Brock or Chambers, has some time to kill before facing Wlad, who I am damn sure will take a title defense before Povetkin, is Audley a good fight for him?

If Povetkin beats both byrd and Brock/Chambers, would a win by AH put Harrison right back in the mix?

so would you care if the two fought each other, on an olympic champ vs. olympic champ level?

interesting. I agree with you. hypothetically speaking. Byrd and Brock/Chambers both fall to Povetkin. Wlad has commitments until the end of 2008 (say he signs to fight Ibragimov) Who do you pick as Povetkin's "in-between" fight?

Who adds the most luster, or develops him furthest, or calms the naysayers the most? And why?

Peter, Maskaev, Chagaev and Ibragimov are all belt holders and no way a fight with them happens right now.

First belt challenge goes to Wlad.

A fight with Virchis would do him more good then a fight with Harrison. Harrison shouldn't come up in conversation. If he wins Wladimir will fight him, trust me.

Good lord, Povetkin would DESTROY Fraudley, knock him out COLD. And it wouldn't take too long, either. :-(

Audley's chin is underrated. That shot by Sprott would have KO'ed any heavyweight in history. Harrison KO2 Povetkin.

We are about to find out about the Russian this weekend.

If he beats Byrd he has a bright future.
