Power Punching Bag Gloves

i was wondering what you guys think is worth my $ when it comes to buying a bag glove w/ padding that can withstand those powerful hooks and straights when comes to power punching the bag

i've gone throught 2 EVERLAST bag gloves and each didn't last 4 months... made big dent where the middle knuckle is and busted a hole through it

im willing to spend the money for quility... anything but those ridiculously overpriced WINNING gloves

suggestions?

I Think U Should By Ringside Ordersome Bag Gloves They Should Run About 20-40 Dollars

 

Use regular 10oz fight gloves for your bag and pad work velcro closeing "bag gloves" are **** imo. I prefer a mix of hair & foam padding- Reyes, Everlast,regulation fight gloves NOT bag gloves . but some people like all foam padding which is what Ringside and Title are. a pair should last you about A year give or take. another plus to this is your working with A glove thats closest to what you will be actually wearing in a fight because even when sparring the lowest your using is what 14oz? probably 16oz if your over 150.

 

Since you are refering to Winning gloves as "ridiculously overpriced" I then assume that you must be using the cheaper Everlast gloves. I have always had good results with top of the line Everlast. Have you ever considered that quality increases with the price?

yes i am... cheap?... i don't concider 99USD cheap....
i just referred winning gloves cause they rack up to 215USD and i heard they dont last that long either when it comes to hitting the bag...

thats why i am asking for suggestions from you guys... what you guys use and what gloves are really worth putting the money into

I use 14oz sparring gloves on bagwork and pad work, not really a fan of bag mits.

 

i don't really like bag mits neither...try to MMA type gloves maybe if u want something smaller than the actually boxing glove and to weigh less and everything. they have a lot of padding in them

 

It is actually 160z gloves i use on the bags and pads, my mistake. I find that using these on this kind of training makes you faster when wearing smaller gloves. conditions my arms really well.

 

Plus bag mits don't offer much protection of the hands. I try to avoid hand injuries by wearing the bigger gloves.
