Nah, the record was something like 2.4 when PBF fought Oscar. I don't think the official numbers have been released yet though.

Primerahora reported 1.1 to 1.2 million PPV's and that it should not exceed 1.5

Hmm if it doesnt do over 1.5 for a fight of this magnitued that just means You need a latino in there to get the big numbers.

Except if Mike Tyson is fighting Lennox Lewis in 2002.

Why do Latinos think boxing revolves around them? If the fight does over 1.4 million buys, that would make it the second largest non HW ppv of all time.

Well yea otherwise an exciting American HW would do too.
But the way things are looking now it does have to be a latino fighter.
I dont see any exciting American HWs coming up.

    Because it does fool.
Why you think Arum is trying to bring back Margarito after that scandal?
Because it is worth the money.
I really doubt he would bother bringing Clottey back if he went through a scandal like that. Just face it man. Its like basketball to black people.

The Latinos are a fighting race and we love watching boxing more so than any other race.

Kevin Iole said 1.1-1.2 but then, he said that Leonard Ellerbe called to tell him that the number will be higher. Ellerbe said the number would be the second highest non heavyweight number in history. By the way Steve Kim says he's hearing 1.4-1.5. The numbers should be out tomorrow or saturday.

Ok wise ass, explain how two black fighters doing one of the biggest non HW ppvs of all time proves that you need a Latin fighter to have a big ppv. The biggest fight out there wouldn't even involve a Latin. In fact, what Latin fighters are even bankable ppv stars right now?
