Hypothetical question but which imaginary PPV fight would gross the most out of all of them
Would it be as Tyson Ali or would some other fight be more compelling

    Cheers

Tyson vs Ali would outgross everything and likely do laps around the fight that comes in 2nd.

The only other fights I could think of that could potentially demand a large purse would be Robinson vs Leonard, Hearns vs Trinidad, De La Hoya vs Duran or Duran vs Chavez.

A hypothetical PPV fight implies a hypothetical audience so it is impossible to say since we don't know the nature of that hypothetical audience.

Some historic fights which would have been through the roof if PPV had existed back then (for different reasons):

    Cribb Molineux II

    Sullivan Killrain

    Johnson Jeffries

    Tunney Dempsey II

    Louis Schmeling II

if i had to pick one of these great fights to watch i would go for louis schmelling II because of the historical wider implications but for me if it was to see a brutal fight it would be sullivan vs killrain

If we imagine equality for all fights I can't imagine Jeffries-Johnson being outgrossed.

As for an imaginary fight, Johnson-Ali.

I think Johnson Jeffries would be a massive fight. Though Louis Schmelling II might have given it a run for its money. I cant really see any others competing with this two.

For imaginery, it would have been massive if they time machined John L Sullivan, right after the Jeffries Johnson fight. Other than this though, i cant really think of a way to outgross the above two. Maybe Dempsey Johnson. I still cant fathom (from a monetary perspective) how any promoter would have let that opportunity slip.

Nothing would outgross Muhammed Ali versus Joe Louis.

I honestly think that Cribb Molineux II would have grossed the highest per head of population.

Dempsey, Ali and Tyson were the biggest draws ever.

Any two of those for the undisputed heavyweight championship would bank a lot of
    $

    on the PPV
