    the other fight on ESPN.

He's not lookin' good. Carried away on a stretcher after not responding to the ref.

Yeah, he is definitely in trouble. The way he responded to the ref was bad. My prayers go out to him.

all i know is they asked him to raise his right hand while he was on the ground. He couldn't do it. Not a good sign. Add to that the shriek of pain as noted by the poster above and he just stumbled when asked to continue by the ref after in between rounds.

****, that's sad to see. After they got him back on the stool he put his gloves up to his head and kind of made a noise. Damn I hope he okay.

This is just my opinion based in what I saw. He got up and tried to answer but he couldn't speak clearly. Then, he collapsed. Paramedics were already asking for an airway. Obviously worried his airway could get compromised or he could simply stop breathing. If I have to guess, unfortunetly, I go with a head bleed or swollen brain. I hope I am wrong. By the way, I am a critical care nurse.

Hate to agree with you on this one but I've seen people in mid stroke and by the way he was acting it looked the same.
    Damn shame to see that.

Wasn't watching this one..terrible to hear. And here I was bitching about Rahman being a *****..puts things in perspective. I truly hope he is ok.

**** the Toney - Rahman fight..this is more important..doesn't sound good. :-( My prayers are definately with him.

About ever 3-4 years something happens like this on ESPN or USA Boxing.

I remember some hard hitting guy out of Tennessee nicknamed "The Rebel".

He was on the "winning side" in a situation like this, but quit boxing because he just did not want to possibly be involved in it again.

Thanks for the insight. Oscar's condition got bad in a hurry and that yowling grunt of his prior to the stoppage scared the crap out of me. The worst part is he didn't look like he was taking a beating. Can things really go that bad, that quick?
