Is the kid ready for someone like Byrd? I know Byrd has slowed down but I still think he is elusive enough to give Povetkin problems. I think its a bad style match up.

But who knows, he did beat Muhammad Ali. You cant get anymore elusive than that. :yep

I think Povetkin is moving up too soon, but I think he will have some trouble early on and then eventually catch Bryd with something big in the mid to late rounds. Povetkin by 7th round TKO.

I just watched some videos of Povetkin. Unless Byrd has completely lost all his skills he should beat Povetkin easily. The man has only fought one 10 round fight and he is so raw. I did not see any real power there either.

Byrd will "swat" those punches away:D

But seriously, Byrd is still elusive and is a very huge step up for Povetkin. I tam leaning towards Chris Byrd on this one.

    :think

Byrd could be evasive and defend from Sasha's offense.

I hope Sasha wins. It will be a close fight.

Povetkin will win every round 120-109 on all cards.

I can't wait for the people who think that this match will even be close find out they were way off. This is a case of overrating an old fighter with a name and underrating a young, skilled fighter.

Povetkin by a somewhat wide margin.

Please keep in mind guys that we're talking about the same Chris Byrd who barely squeeked by Fres Oquendo. That ESPN slickster has been gone for quite awhile.

    yeah.

    pts i think.

his quick combo punching should seal the deal.

byrd will take a few rds though i think.
