Price/McDermott RbR!

I wanted McDermott to win tonight, mainly because it would've been a good upset to start the boxing year on sky.

But you have to like David Price. Seems like a really nice guy and hope he can go a long way, definitely looks like he can.

 

Did he mention Belshaw? He was better than Lewis in some way he said once.


The thing about Price that I always have question marks about is his chin. Remember his first fight or 2nd he was clipped and hurt bad.

Watching the replay, Price does need to tighten up his defence a bit. Only complaint from the fight really.

 

Old trick by McDermott there. Waited and made sure he was still getting up when the count reached 10 so he could complain at the stoppage.

 

Good point by Nelson - Price kept cool and picked his punches well. Lots of prospects go all Mike Jones when they have the opponent in trouble.

David Haye could learn a thing or two from Price about finishing :yep

 

Getting the rounds in would mean getting fighters like Sprott and Guinn, tough experienced fighters.

Both Sprott and Guinn have a sparring fighter mentality so there's not point fighting them.

 

Fury has to fight Price. It would go against every thing that Tyson Fury is about to avoid the fight. It'll happen.
