Who else gets tingles watching old PRIDE shows when the fighters were called out and the PRIDE theme song came on? Seriously man the shows were awesome. Im just digging through my collection and watching PRIDE Total Elimination 2003. This **** is almost as good as sex. I hear that theme song and im ready to go to war no joke
Anyone here think a PRIDE Bushido tattoo is a bit much? I got one on my forearm! :yep

Went through Pride 32, 33 & 34 the other day, great stuff :smoke.

Pride 33 is everything you could hope for in a great MMA event.

Watch PRIDE - Critical Countdown 2004. Two of the best slams in the history of the sport. And one of the best submissions from Big Nog. At the time even Bas Rutten didn't know what that submission was. Beautifully executed on Herring with the gator roll to boot.

I still need to get the 2004 GP on dvd, I've seen most of the fights though and yeah, Critical Countdown 2004 had some great moments.

The Bushido 9 GP is probably my favourite event, the lightweights were on fire that night.

 You should have seen the one's in K-1 Hero's and the K-1. They were even worse. Those things were freaking huge! Im sure i remember one of them being taller than the Japanese fighter who won.

Compared to the UFC those giant Cheques weren't alot of money. Those guys were fighting for peanuts. But it was alot of money back then for them.

It always used to make me wonder what the exchange rate for Yen was because there were about a dozen figures on the cheques and it looked like they were being paid millions

Millions in Yen. But in dollars or pounds it equated to about £150k for Wandy salary i saw once at the GP. I heard Fedor was being paid close to a Million dollars but i can't remember clearly or confirm that.

  14. i'd really like to watch lots of old pride events and catch up on everything i've missed out on.
can't find a site where i can watch them so i suppose i'll have to buy some from somewhere.
which events would be the best ones to watch/buy?
