I agree that Mike would knockout Chris Byrd and most sluggers.

However, I think George Foreman would cause him some real problems. I wouldn't classify Sonny Liston as a slugger, but he would be real trouble for Mike as well.

 

Then explain your statement, because it's not a "given", so you can't just say it.

 

Mitch Greens problems are well known, Pinklon Thomas got addicted to heroin when he was 11, Berbick had documented mental issues, Spinks was cashing out and didn't come to fight, Holmes was coming out of retirement and stated himself he wanted a tune up but it was either tyson straight away or not at all. Marvis Fraizer was forced into the fight and pressured by his dads expectations. It goes on.

 

Spinks wasn't cashing out. He came to fight, but found Mike on his best night. Anything else is falsehood.

Holmes wasn't faded, not shot, and the "stated himself" remark... Holmes talks more **** and lies as much as any celebrity in history.

Tyson always had mental issues but at that time he had people who cared about him and helped him through his prblems like jimmy Jaccobs and Kevin Rooney once he lost them he was lost himself, after they left, his life spun out of control. His training camps were less tough and don king hired guys to tell him how great he was no matter what. Thats fine you say he was mentally weak, but Lewis' chin was weak and was eventually exposed for what was later on in his career in 94 by Mccall.

 

They didn't help him through his problems, there were just damn good at covering/cleaning up his mess. He was always out of control. Lewis actually had a good chin, he was on his feet against McCall and the ref who let Holmes continue against Shavers would damn sure have let LL continue then. Let me guess if holmes would have stopped on his feet against Shavers then he'd have a crap chin as well right?

Honestly I dont think Lewis had that bad of a chin, but he did get rocked alot similiar to Wlad, You cant discredit mike for his acomplishments over his career nor should you discredit Lewis for getting one pounch knockouts against him. Lewis had the better career, Tyson was better in his prime. So whos really better, everybody has there opinion.
