I know this is going to sound naive, but hopefully, we haven't seen prime Gassiev, yet. He's only 31, and looked better in his last fight than he has in years, finally ripping that hook to the body with impunity. But I get the feeling that he just isn't trying that hard. Hopefully once Usyk is out of the sport he'll make his move.
Wilder blasts him out early prime for prime. Gassiev can punch but he is pretty hittable and can't dictate a fight at all, he lost to Wallin fairly convincingly.
The size difference alone is just too much and his power seems a bit diminished at HW, he definitely going to walk onto one those right hands between Rounds 5 to 9
