Hatton beat an inactive and older version of Zoo. Prime and sharp Zoo KO's him.

Zoo had only fought 9 rounds in three years leading up to the fight. The referee also let Hatton use illegal tactics so no one should whine about the Hatton/Mayweather fight.

Hatton would have always given Zoo hell prime or not.

Zu wasn't too much past his prime. Hatton's style would've always beaten Zu's

Hattons style gives Tzsyu fits always.

Tzsyu said that the version that fought Hatton would have KO'd the earlier version of himself.. make of that what you will.

Tszyu would have won that fight at his age inactive and old if there was no excessive holding

One thing that is often over-looked when looking back to that fight is that up to round 8 or 9 even the British commentators had Tszyu in a lead. Not a big lead but it shows how the fight was going.

The young and hungry Ricky Hatton was too much for an old and inactive Tszyu but there was enough edvidence to suspect that the outcome could have been very different if Tszyu had been younger or even more active in recent years.

That remains Hatton's greatest performance in my eyes. He has looked ordinary in all of his fights since up to and including, in my opinion, Paulie Mallignaggi where, despite the post-fight hype, all he did was get the basics right against a man who didn't turn up or was out of his depth depending on your point of view.

I don't get the inactive thing to much.. Tzsyu fought 6 months before Hatton against Mitchell, in which he KO'd him easily in 3

I think that version of Tszyu would of beaten Hatton, if Hatton had not been allowed to use illegal tactics.

The same Mitchell he'd taken 6 or 7 rounds to stop 3 years previously on a shoulder injury retirement. Some decline....
