rua all the way. waldo is awesome no doubt and shyte one knee from either guy and itz over so no doubt itz a close match.

have to take rua however as the guy has that SIXTH SENSE about him when he fightz that is so rare. waldo as one of the best fighterz of all time has a bit of it also however to me he is more of a MADMAN that has the balls of a lion and fighting skillz to back it up. i just dont see the THINKING ability of waldo on the fly matching rua

 

So many guys love Silva on here. He's almost like a poor mans Rua. Rua's on another level.

That fight would have been incredibly violent in Pride.

 

They used to knock each other out in training all the time (probably contributed to Wandy fading so fast).

My "dog" comment was that they had a bet on a sparring match that the winner would get to keep Shoguns dog, Wandy knocked him out.

 

Is this true? How old was Rua etc?

 

Wanderlei is a monster and people forget just what a monster he was.

It would be a close fight. I never new about the dog thing.
