Thats pure rubbish venus...i had a mate who was mad enough to pay, and got blue screen. He rang me and i mentioned the whole turning tv off on on again, and it didnt work. You didnt process his order and was on phone for ages trying to sort it out, he litterally got through as khan was coming down to ring. So he paid for a live undercard he never got.

So how many buys did you get then?

Funny how you werent around when i was requesting a advertising schedule.

But you here to brag about getting more buys than for mcloskey, 60,001 eh?

Not bragging, just making clear there were no technical issues, the only issues anyone had were due to them not having the viewing card in the box when ordering and so missing the signal. We advise all customers of this twice on all purhcase routes before the complete the order.

The OP is entirely wrong with his post as we did better than last time and I personally felt our broadcast was a big step up from our previous events and something for us to be proud of!

And FYI I was here all night advising people on any issues during the event so no-one in here can say they weren't offered help

To be fair it was the slickest production from Primetime I've seen yet. Still a few issues to iron out, but it was certainly a step up from the McCloskey fight in terms of the production.

    "NO technical issues"

Talk about trying to insult peoples intelligence.

HIS VIEWING CARD WAS IN!!! WHY WOULDNT IT BE???:patsch:roll:

You didnt process his order in the first place.

So how many buys did you get then??? You clearly have a better idea then you did about where you were advertising the product.

So, is this Primetime's idea of customer service? Did you cover other boxing forums, or did they get allocated their own representatives?

You're not doing Primetime any favours by denying there were any technical problems. If you're saying there were no problems, then obviously you aren't going to make sure they don't happen next time, are you?

To be clear there were no technical issues with this event, any issues experienced were down to user error. Full information and contact details are easily available on our site and we were on a number of forums providing advise to customers.

There is nothing to prevent from happening again as there were no issues with our service. If anyone personally experienced an issue PM me so I can look into it.

The only way you can get a blue screen is if you take your viewing card out of the box to get the viewing card number and do not reinsert it or completely reboot your system before purchasing. A blue screen can be cleared almost instantly by our customer service team by resending a signal(hits a box within 3 seconds)

Did better than the McCloskey fight?

I guess like all the Irish bought the PPV last time, this time all those black ppl from brooklyn scattered around England bought it, since Khan has no following whatsoever.

No chin, No Ring IQ, No Fans, No professionals in his team... what a waste of space!

Quite a few people apparantly, seeing as there were no technical issues.

I suppose next time I take my car back to the garage with a problem, they'll tell me "You must have taken the engine out, sir, there are no technical problems..."

I'm no expert on this, but surely there will always be cases of technical issues with a % of people who order PPV events? I'm struggling to understand how Venus can be in a position to 100% confirm that no technical issues took place? We're talking about coverage going across Britain here.

It's fairly clear that venusdiablo is neither an engineer or has anything to do with customer care. He/she is obviously a PR type of person who's job it is to try and minimise the backlash for Primetime when things don't go smoothly.

Unfortunately, denying any technical problems is possibly the worst stance to take. Live broadcasts and PPV always have technical problems, why should a minor player like Primetime be any different?

There's nothing worse you can tell your customers than "It's your fault you're doing it wrong..."

I didnt have problems with my picture. Was pissed off with the terrible sound work, that was terrible. Worst bit was definitely trying to order though. The people answering the phones there are bloody terrible. One phonecall took 18 minutes. Thats a bloody joke and means the phonecall will cost more that the actual fight. Luckily I have a work phone but if I didnt I would be paying bout 50euro in total. Something has to be done about that Venus

  15. Its a shame for primetime that Khan is using them because Sky want nowt to do with him at the moment, Sky only have to click there fingers to the Khan camp and despite what they have been saying they will be back there in a shot:deal
