Nas had the decency to never really fight again, in fairness. And he operated at world level for a long time before the MAB fight.

Naz was clearly in a bad mood because they'd run out of burgers in the arena café.

    He’s on the Charlie here.

He’s telling Eubank to retire haha.

Still loves the sound of his own voice,

Also, while I’m not in total disagreement with what he saying about Eubank being a know it all, there is an element of hypocrisy in it. He himself acted much the same way just before and after the split with Brendan Ingle. It was that arrogance from Hamed that eroded his talent and cut short his career.

Haha yep - took Hamed 17 years, but he finally seems to have grasped that basic truth.

This. Also, Nas had serious hand problems, since he barely used left hand in the Barrera fight. Coming off a 1 year layoff and fighting Barrera, who was very active was a very big mistake by Nas.

To be fair, Barrera would have beaten him handily at any stage of their respective careers.

Seems obvious that Nas must personally not like the Eubanks.

You say it's hypocrisy (and you're probably right) but maybe he's also kind of talking from experience.

People often criticise people for saying "you shouldn't do this" when they themselves did that, but sometimes they're the best people to speak as they have made that same mistake themselves.

Just saying in general as Naz has always been pretty deluded and narcissistic as well as probably not sober these days.

I derived a lot more pleasure from watching Barrera bring Naz crashing back to Earth than I did watching GG do the same to CEJ. I enjoyed both but watching Barrera son Naz was epic.

Naz was all in on Jr BEFORE the fight, said Jr would win..

It's All over twitter that Naz had a large amount of money on Jr, I'm seeing rumours of around 200k, all rumour, Naz hasn't said anything on the claims of his big gamble as far as I can see but some people involved in boxing have said as much.

So I'd be a little bit upset too if I bought in to the Jr hype, believed what I was being told and just done a large amount on money on a performance like that.

Naz was always an arrogant dickhead - and always gave the impression of being pretty thick, to boot.

Eubank's performance was poor, he's right about that - but it's not really a good time to kick him when he's down. Also a bit hypocritical to criticize so viciously someone who has just made the same mistake he made himself.

Eubank can come back from this - he seems pretty together, a damn sight mentally tougher than Hamed and with much more heart.
