Patel is an absolute tool, but people take him too seriously. He clearly likes drawing attention to himself and if he carries on beating bums he will talk his way into a big fight, probably a cash out, and people will pay to see it, which is exactly what he wants to happen!
This, he is padding his record with KOs against these fighters. He will fight the absolute least resistance into a big fight for a title of some sort, European/Fringe World? Using his padded record to help, get paid nicely and he knows people will watch him (if only to lose, they will still watch!).
can anyone briefly explain the whole situation around this guy, i've seen the clip of him slating barry jones, i have seen his padded record and i have seen him get loads of abuse on twitter, i haven't yet watched the ifl interview. Was there a reason he suddenly started to fight in eastern europe after having his first few fights in the UK? is there anything i am missing did he fall out with frank warren or something?
