Anyone else looking forward to this? Should be better, although not difficult, than the last series.

Should see some good action. Francis, Dunstan, Scott, Corbett - should be entertaining to say the least.

could be the best since the first one. I think Francis will go out early he doesn't seem suited to this system imo

if francis does go out early then it has to be game over for him. he'd be behind the winner and probably losing finalist in the pecking order for a cruiser weight british title shot, and probably a few others aswell. he's not young enough to wait around anymore.

Looks like one of the best Prizefighters this, looking forward to it.

It would really **** me off if British rankings gave too much weight to these fights though. They are not over area level distances so in general shouldn't be used for rank fighters of this level or above (unless there's a stoppage perhaps).

If he has trained Dean Francis should have no problem here

    Nice write-up Chud
    :thumbsup

Francis certainly has the talent to win this, but I question his motivation
He keeps saying in all the interviews that he is not a fan of the sport, he doesn't know any of the other fighters, if he loses he will retire, etc.

Someone needs to light a fire under his ass

Cheers, i did get that impression from Francis on Bunce's show too. Hard to support a guy like that, personally id like to see Corbett win.

    Weights
    Ovill McKenzie: 13st 5lb 13oz.
    Dean Francis: 13st 12lb 2oz.
    Darren Corbett 14st 1 1/2lb.
    Bruce Scott: 14st 1lb 11oz
    Neil Simpson: 14st 4lb.
    Terry Dunstan: 14st 4lb 5oz.
    John Keeton: 14st 5lb.
    Micky Steeds: 14st 5lb 11oz

    Draw
QF 1: Dean Francis v Neil Simpson
QF 2: John Keeton v Bruce Scott
QF 3: Terry Dunstan v Ovill McKenzie
QF 4: Micky Steeds v Darren Corbett

SF 1: Winner of QF 1 v winner of QF 2
SF 2: Winner of QF 3 v Winner of QF 4

F: Winner of SF 1 v winner of SF 2

Going on the draw its probably a Francis vs Dunstan/Steeds final.

I'm actually looking forward to this one. I didn't bother with the last...

My predictions, for what they're worth are,

    Francis bts Simpson
    Scott bts Keaton
    McKenzie bts Dunstan
    Corbett bts Steads

    Francis bts Scott
    McKenzie bts Corbett

    Francis bts McKenzie... again!
