Is Probellum a streaming service like DAZN or ? It would be wonderfull to get some information. I have only seen that they in the coming weeks will have a much stronger boxing line up than DAZN.
Really they have a Jack and Burns who are old and shot. Prograis who lost all momentum from the Taylor fi currently have no tv outlet. Not sure where they could possibly end up. looking at it they have a shot jack and burns and prograis who lost a lot of momentum on the back of Taylor. meanwhile DAZN who are a broadcaster have AJ, Haney, Garcia, GGG, Ortiz, a Taylor Etc
The UK Matchroom Shows we have seem on DAZN for the last 3 or 4 months is nothing special. The 1st Fight Camp show was great, but no. 2 and 3 was poor. The shows could have been on Sky Sports. Eddie Hearn promised that the UK Shows in the future will be 5 or 6 times better on DAZN. Its hard for me to see. However, the Smith Fowler event this weekend is good.
Think Casimero wins that fight all day long and by stoppage. Very low purse though. Dont know how anyone could not make money putting that on at the Echo with a decent card around it.
With a combined purse of around 75k Casimero v Butler would have been a good one for channel 5 to get.
The owner of Probellum co owns Hennessy sports so it possible it ends up on channel. More to the point it seems they are scheduling in the prime MTK territories given their links to them
Yeah quite possible. If i was them i would be trying to get Mick Hennessey on board as their chief matchmaker.
I have a feeling they may link up with him in a co promotional deal. They seem to be linking with promoters in different territories like Wasserman in Germany and Maravila box in Spain. I just don’t see how they make it viable without a TV deal in place. My guess is they want to create something like UFC fight pass as they are seeming to focus on globally promoting. Only way to do that is have a DAZN or Amazon type broadcaster backing them.
Why have Probellum signed lots of media people (tv host, commentators etc.) if is not a streamingsservice like DAZN they will launch ?
