Totally right. Every show you see on TV are in 3/4 empty venues. Too many promoters, too many TV companies, too many mismatches and things are going to get worse with the oncoming recession.

The great irony is that thirty years ago this would look like a golden age of boxing. The reality is that there are too many fighters having too many fights on too many promotions.
In that era of the Big Fight Live on ITV, not only were there huge ratings of 10-15 million but the venues were packed as well. Now that looks like the golden age of boxing.
