Something that has frustrated me about the HW division is that it has had so many fighters that seem to not be commmited to the sport that they are in. They either come in out of shape time and time again, are inactive but still expect respect on past reputation, they don't seem to want to step up when it is time to do so, or they get disqualified for some lame reason even in fights they win or are going to win.

It seems like they mess fans around but even so expect big paydays.

My example would be Tua - someone I was a fan of but have given up on.

Anyone else come to mind ?

Sam Peter, Shannon Briggs, Lamon Brewster, Andrew Golota, Corrie Sanders, Kirk Johnson.......how long do you want the list to be? There is no shortage of lazy-ass heavies who never have and never will reach their full potential.

Vladimir Klitschko trains very hard and never gets out of shape, they same can be said for Vitali who will be fighting the winner of the Maskaev/Peter fight. Povetkin works hard. I would say that most of the Eastern European heavyweights are committed to training. Valouev has great stamina, and he is 7 feet 2 inches tall!!! Incedible!!! Too many heavyweights want the money but do not want to work for it, so I respect those who are committed.

The latest problematic heavyweight is that fat **** Solis, who looks like **** when he comes in fat and cries about his knees.

Knees troubling you- loose weight fat ass.

    Yes, everyone knows lazy fighters.

But I think, HWs are often treated unfairly by fans. I can't think of no other sport, where athletes are called bums by "fans" just for losing a fight. It happened to the Klitschkos, this year to Chambers and Skelton, last year to Sam Peter even when he was winning. All these guys belong without any doubt to the top 20 of the world! Can any one imagine something like this happening to Pro Bowl alternates???

    Ridicilous, just like 11player's list.

Half of the people on your list could definitely not be called lazy!

    Tua
Liakovich - if he loses to Valuev prob won't fight for a year or so.
Mesi - injury, not really at fault
    Briggs
Audley Harrison - in-active on top of everything else
    Kirk
    Gomez
Vitali - injury, not really at fault
    Danny Williams
    Golota
Brewster - injury, not really at fault
    Moorer
    Tye Fields

+ Toney (steriods) + maybe Rahman + Byrd.

Would make a good 16 to just fight each other in a knockout.
Winner gets a title shot or something. The rest retire.

No disrespect to any of these fighters but I'd rather see young
hungry prospects getting shots at the top players, not these guys
    recycled again and again.

Many of the fighters on this list still have a lot to offer - Golota for
example - but I'd still rather see new faces in the division.
