You gits should stop all yer moaning, it could be worse, you could be me!
Its too late for me to go to my pals house for this one, by the time I get home & go back out to my pals house I will be too tired to enjoy the fight, so I am going to just stay at home & listen to the fight on 5 live.

I havent listened to a fight on the radio for ages, but at least its better than nothing! Anyone know if the Mitchell-Johanesson fight will be on 5 live also?

On the plus side though, now John Rawling is on Setanta, you won't have to listen to his endless, misguided prattle.

    Good point :good

Could be worse the american commentry team Satanta had for Pavlik vs Taylor II, who changed their mind about 100 times with different reasons why each fighter was going to win or loose :-(

    setanta golf/sport 1/sport 2/rangers /celtic/news/ are the 6 channels affected.

you should get arsenal tv and setanta ireland fine as they are on astra channels.

i will quickly run you through the solution and what to do.

the break up of signal is due to 1 of 3 things that will be a case of trial and error.

    1/dish alignment-most common
to fix-as you look at the sky dish from the back of the dish ,it needs to be moved a fraction 0.3 of a degree over to your left as you look.

2/lnb- the thing that points at your dish.make sure it has not split open and water has not got in.
tape up the bottom connection against water.

3/your tuner has gone on your skybox, just for the setanta channels due to being an old model .
setanta does require a modern sky digibox to work reliably.
even though every sky channel and halfof setanta channels are working fine beleive me it can still be the tuner on the sky digi box.

    easier to replace.

models to look out for are pace and panasonic or sony.

do not buy amstrad or virtually any other model.

the pace receiver which is best is the white one.

the black pace boxes are old and might give problems with setanta in the future.

    hope this helps.

    Well said that man:good

Thing is though, last I listened to a radio commentary it was Steve 'elvis' Costello that was commentating. Hes OK, but was a bit hatton crazy. when I listen to the commentary, I just want to hear a man who tells a fight like it is.
I hope to hear an honest commentary, cos it kills me when I cant see whats going on, never mind listening to guys being openly biased. I want Haye to win, but I dont want the english commentator telling lies just cos he wants one of his own to win.

& thats what 21st century commentary has turned into, fanboys commentating on what they want to see instead of whats actually going on. & its kiling my love of the sport to be honest.

Impartiality, I crave it like an an alcoholic craves his next drink.

Its ****ing annoying, Setanta have split the fight into about 6 chunks, pain in the arse to set Sky + to record it all

The Funniest Was When I Set Sky Plus To Record For One Of The American Fights - It Went 12 Rounds & Sky Plus Stopped Just Before They Announced The Decision - I Had To Get The Result From Esb = That Fight Was On Sentanta

I used to think Ian Darke was a class commentator, until I watched Hatton/Mayweather. He said he had Hatton a round down going into the ninth - he plummeted in my estimation after that.

I've got the same problem. Have subscribed since Hatton-Castillo last summer and now this happens at a time when a lot of great fights are coming up (apart from tonight's). ****ing sort it, Setanta!
