Good fight. Is Postol still among the best SLW in the World? Is Prograis the real deal? Stylistically nice fight too. Postol likes to use his jab and right hand to control distance, if successful here he takes it on points. If Prograis can take the jab away and step in with counters he can break Postol down. I can’t see anything other than Prograis trying to walk him down.

What I’ve seen of Prograis, he uses upper body movement lots but not too much lateral movement. I lean Prograis but this is a big step up. Wouldn’t shock me to see Postol win a UD. Prograis’ opposition is nowhere near Postol’s level.

I agree with that assessment. Prograis is no joke. I think that Crawford felt him coming.

I really hope that you're not saying that Crawford moved up to duck Prograis...

Prograis will beat Postol for me, Postol hasn’t been the same since the Crawford fight, he has been inactive and didn’t look great last time out.

Lool these guys call it a whack division when Crawford is in it but the moment he leaves it to go a more dangerous division then suddenly he felt dangers coming. How about these guys waited for him to leave before coming out of hiding.

    Postal wins by decision.

The problem with Prograis is that he keeps his hands down and relies too much on head movement to avoid punches. You can get away with that against weak competition, but not at the top.

Postal will use his height and keep popping him with the jab and it's going to land often after the first few rounds if Prograis doesn't keep his hands up.

If not for Postol looking to have slipped a bit in his recent match in Ukraine, my very confident pick would be his superior craft and experience to emerge triumphant over the more athletic but unseasoned Rougarou. Now it feels about 50-50.

The Rougarou will violently KO Postol within 6, Regis is far slicker than people seem to realize, Postol will walk onto a few counter right hooks, eventually go down, and Regis will pounce on him and finish him off KOing him cold with a flush straight left right on the button. Sending one of the dullest fighters Eastern Europe has ever produced back to fighting in gymnasiums.:ggg

50/50 fight, but I have to go with Regis, but I wouldn't be surprised if Postol came through.

Naw, Crawford is not a ducker but he was aware that Prograis would have been his toughest fight at 140 and he wasn't going to wait around to give him a shot. It didn't make sense career wise are financially. Now if Prograis move to 147, and presented a challenge then Crawford would engage him because the money stakes and the career enhancement would be greater.
