Forget De La Hoya being interest in Kessler, hes only interested in real fighters not total frauds. Godlen boy are the company to join, Kessler has failed the enterance exam to enter a top Promo outfit. hes astandard 1-2 fraud.
Kessler could probably sell pretty well here with him having a British connection through his mother..... people will always turn up for a world title fight in the UK - I just hope Froch beats Taylor and it might happen.
I really don't think that's such a good idea. Kessler needs big fights now and Calzaghe Promotions is barley off the ground and putting on small shows in merthyr tydfil. I think Calzaghe promotions needs Kessler more than Kessler needs them. Kessler should be looking at an established company with guarantees of big fights, not a fledgling outfit who at this stage have no track record in the sport. He has been messed around for too long now and doesn't have the time to take such a risk with this move.

I don't understand the "it can't be any worse than Palle" logic. While this is true, if Kessler is free to sign with any promoter he would have a lot of interest. So why would he sign with a newbie promoter when he could sign for one of the big boys and guarantee himself good fights?

Well because you agree, that it's true, that kessler can do better with any other promoter, because his current promoter is a jerk, it's a good idea to get a promotor who will give the fighters interests and priorities more importance, which is something joe could offer Kessler. He is maybe a little green in the promoting business, but Joe has been succesful throughout his career, is proffesional, and a solid person, so why not? Other fighters like him have entered promoting with succes, and Joe has a name so he could probably set up the path Kessler needs to take to be a respected european boxer
kessler is potentially the best supermiddle around and with joes contacts and reputation,kessler could fight the best of the rest in the division,and show how good he is.:bbb:bbb
Kessler like anyone with 2 brin cells would observe is a vastly over rated Basic one dimensional fighter. The only thing he has goign for him is good looks and baby blues, hes marketable that way. As a fighter Palle is the best thing for him, they wont expose him to any risks and keep on milking the market in Europe. Leave the fighting to guys like Froch. Can you imagine Kessler fighting Taylor in his 1st defense?? I think we know the answer to that.
