Anyone else think the whole Wazza and Hearn stalemate is hampering british boxing , the amount of good domestic fights it is hampering is robbing the fans of many quality fights , Could there be a middle ground where they allow on a fight by fight basis each others fighters to fight on the alternative channel to allow fighters to progress better rather than being hampered by the cold war and purse bids etc ,,, Thoughts ??

It's sad really - for the benefit of the fans it would be great if the two top promoters could work with one another.

When Ryder fought on a BoxNation card security stopped Barry Hearn from entering the ring

most major domestic fights are not Hearn v ******. For eg. quigg - Frampton, Brook-Khan, DeGale-Groves 2, Fury v Haye v Joshua v Price, Macklin v Lee v Murray.

    Don't you mean Paul O'Grady?

Eddie/Frank are as bad as each other in my opinion. Mick is slightly better but still really doesn't want his fighters (bar the incredibly odd Tyson Fury situation) fighting away from Channel Five.

Hearn recently stated something along the lines of "we don't even bother to contact Queensbury when the board mandates a fight", which is rather sad on many levels.

Unless there are some major signings of fighters who are flexible with being paid, the Fish stable is becoming more irrelevant to UK boxing by the month. :happy

We stand with Ricky Burns v The Fish :good

Don't buy tickets for the Fish Tank or subscribe to Butt Nation :happy

Drown the Fish in his own Pish :deal

Can be summed up like this

    - frank has a failing tv channel and any decent fighter of his he will fight tooth and nail to keep on his channel, esp against a fighter who gets some sky hype
    - Eddie is probably waiting for franks house of cards to collapse but also his fighter doesn't have any benefit of fighting on BN but franks gain massively from fighting on sky
    - Mick seems happy putting on small hall shows whilst ****ing away a good spot on c5
