Leo what your saying is McCloskey could had won that fight by hitting Khan with a counter because Khan got sloppy, tired because he hadnt trained properly, taken Paul lightly and got distracted by the PPV stuff???

If so I agree theres a chance but it doesn't mean we have to watch the fight again.

Khan looked **** tonight. McCloskeys performance was pathetic. I have no intrest in seeing a rematch.

McCloskey was taking a sound beating and he looked for the easy way out when it presented itself. There is no other way to look at it.

He was asked if he wanted to continue and he didn't show an desire because he wanted to a face saving way out rather than get embarrassed any more. So yeah he clearly quit and then decided to fuss about it, very manipulative disgraceful attempt.

Its not a bad decision if the fighter himself shows no desire to continue.

How can people say **** like "theres absolutely 100% no chance he would of won that fight". He waited until round 5 to throw his uppercut and the timing was off. He got frustrated with his timing and was trying to guage the timing before the stoppage. We will never know how it would have gone but to say that is very naive.

Mcloskey could not see his cut in the position it was in, he was in no position to make decision. I have seen a picture and the cut looks bad from front on. You don't want more punches on a cut like that. The doctor must be the one to make the decision, he has to take care of the welfare of the boxer.

The fight was going pretty much as I expected. I knew McCloskey had a genuine shot. Unfortunately we were prevented from finding out the true outcome. It should be clear that Khan is on borrowed time.

the biggest chance of his life and he didnt take it, although i was hoping for a upset it never looked on the cards from the first bell.It looks like he was relieved to hear what the doctor said

And it looked absolutely clear to me that Khan was delighted the ref stopped it as it was absolutely clear that Khan had expended all of his energy and had nothing left.
