I just saw the fight and Im a little sad because Pryor might have cheated in the fight, because I really love his style of fighting and I dont think he needed to cheat in that fight. What is your honest opinion, do you think he cheated? And do anybody know a page or a link where you can watch the HBO documentary, "Assault in the ring"?
Yeah, I'm interested to know. I don't recall noticing any cheating. It's been a while since I last saw the fight though.
Oh sorry everybody for not mentioning what he did. This is where the ring corner starts talking about the mixed bottle of water.
Crushed asthma tablets in the "black bottle" is how he cheated. Increased the oxygen in his blood which allowed him to finish the fight strong. The trainer specifically said something like: "No, the 'other' one..." in the corner.
According to the expert esb detectives conspiracy theory's some might say maybe Pryor might have had loaded gloves Ala his stable mate Retso? As well as the mixed bottle. Who knows.
Yea....he got caught....not officially but everyone knows the deal. And agree....he most likely would have won but he had extra energy late and was able to finish the fight early b/c of it.
