Very hard fight for Whitaker...but even harder for Azza.

Probably some discrepancies in the scoring by the end but a fight I see Pea getting a deserved decision in.
Pryor a bit to wide open, especially to the southpaws...and Pea's chin is solid, it wont betray him.

Could have ended up one of the all-time greatest stylistic match-ups. But it's true, I don't see it ending inside the distance.

I think Pea will be outboxing Aaron for most of the fight. All the while, the Hawk's unrelenting attack is slowly wearing Pernell down. My guess is Pryor by points.

My first thought was that Pryor would be stuck in the same kind of fight that he was against Gary Hinton but thinking a little more into it Whitaker at his best labored a lot on the inside and I think with a guy who threw as much as Pryor that would cost him down the stretch.

    Pryor by close decision.

Whitaker could throw a great amount of punches while avoiding them all at the same time. He would switch it up on Pryor. Move it from mid to short range and keep the longer arms of Pryor out of play. Just my opinion though

As has been mentioned already, this would be a stylistic nightmare for both fights.

I see Pea's great defensive prowess winning the early rounds, but Pryor's relentless aggression wearing him down later on.

UD. Not sure if I can pick who though, because I just can't decide if Pryor can hold his own in enough of the first half of the fight to eke out a decision.

True, a very common misconception. Pryor beat Hearns in the amateurs and, rumour (not sure how true) has it that Ray Leonard moved up a division due to Pryor's skill in the ams. Was unlucky not to be in the Montreal 76 team too.
