I think the Holyfield that beat Quawi the 2nd time or the Evander that beat Dokes stops Quarry on cuts in a pier 6 brawl. One helluva fight but Evander has a little too much ammo for the cut prone Quarry as well as speed. Would'nt bet my life savings on it though.

    Both in their primes?

    Slight edge to Holyfield.

I can see Quarry making Holyfield stumble around like a drunk before the end, though.

I feel it would be a tough fight for Holyfield, but I think after making it to the late rounds, poor Jerry Quarry's achillies heel, his tissue paper skin, would come into play and that might help Holyfield rally at the end for a close UD or a cuts stoppage. If Jerry had skin of leather no telling how much better he would have fared against the greats like Ali, Frazier, and Norton. Not saying he would have beat those men, but he probably could have held them to fairly close decisions rather than TKO by cuts.

Quarry stopped around Round 9 on cuts.

Holy up maybe 5-3 or 4-3-1 and has had some bad rounds.

I reckon Holyfield will put in a convincing performance and stop Quarry within 8 or 9 rounds.

If Quarry tries to brawl, Evander will stop him sooner.

Maybe is the fight was in Ireland, held on St.Patricks day, and judges started drinking early....Quarry could win a UD.

I think you have to go with Holyfield here. He was better in just about every area.

I think Holyfield's superior skill wins the day here in a great fight.

I see Evander moving and on his toes like he fought Foreman and he could win a close one, Quarry was a harder banger and would keep Evander from getting reckless with his power but Quarry would stun Evander over the course of the fight

    Doubt it.

Holyfield broke Mercer's ribbed which resulted in a knockdown. Tommy Morrison couldn't manage a bodyshot knockdown none the less break Mercer's ribs.

Not to mention flooring Bowe like a sack of crap.

Quarry would make it pretty tough, but would be clearly beaten in most rounds and stopped around 10.

Holyfield would win this by a hard fought TKO or a tough but very clear cut decision. Jerry was very good but Holyfield was better in almost every department.

Possibly Quarry would have Holyfield in trouble, but Evander would survive and take control of the match.
