I hate agenda driven liars who distort and spin facts to their own advantage.Mendacity hates me just as much as I hold him in complete contempt. When I'm wrong, I'm wrong ,and I will say so ,I have before on this forum,anyone EVER seen Mendacity admit he was wrong? The subject matter is unimportant Jack Johnson ,Jack Dempsey Jack Dillon et al .Its the fact that someone has the pathological need to lie and distort facts because of a personal hatred of an individual. Jack Johnson? I imagine he was a pretty shitty individual in many areas, vain ,egocentric ,preening and conceited,shiftless and untrustworthy ,though he did pay for Sam Mcvey's funeral. What the F**k has any of that to do with his ability? Ray Robinson beat his pregnant wife on several occasions ,he was notorious for stiffing Promoters and demanding his purse up front ,he was a greedy **** who wanted all the money in his matches ,and Promoters ,Managers ,and Fighters alike vehemently disliked him.but no one said he wasnt a great fighter. When you judge a boxer you judge him on his accomplishments and his ability ,not his personality or human qualities , these shouldnt come in to it .imo.Every time Mendacity puts a thread up now people are looking for the agenda behind it,whether it be Chagaev the KLits , or one of Jeffries victims. His credibility has gone imo ,and any respect I had for him has long evaporated. He claims there was a referee when Johnson engaged in a sparring session with Smith ,he claims Smith knocked out Johnson,both these claims are false ,and he knows they are false. Why lie ? Because it serves his purpose to denigrate some one he hates.
McVey is a racist piece of &hit who can't fathom the thought of Jack Johnson having a poor ring performance vs lesser competition. Because I have mentioned this in the past, he has become fixated on a sad personal crusade against me. At the very least McVey can produce newspaper reports so the rest of us can learn as I have.:deal McVey, please produce a primary newspaper report to back up what you are saying. Sometimes I get the feeling Mcvey resorts to lying to cover his tracks, or comeback from an obvious position of defeat. For example one time he claimed he had a 137 IQ! When I told him that's boarder line genius, he said, not it isn't. Um yes it is.

Not taking sides here, and in fact should probably keep my nose out of this. But, making the accusation that someone is " racist " on the basis of being partial towards a certain fighter, is neither fair nor valid. Frankly, I think this scuffle has gone on long enough, and while I have had more than my share of quarrels with people here, they are usually resolved by this point... Time to make peace and move on gentleman.
Magoo, your intervention is timely , a wake up call ,to me at least. No chance of peace ,but definitely time to move on . This has become self indulgent and boring ,and monopolising space that could be put to more productive threads. A very good idea, and hopfully I have helped without offending anyone. I have had many nasty quarrels with folks on this site, and some of them got ugly to the point where even physical violence was suggested ( not by myself. ) You don't want it to escalate to those proportions.. Let's get back to talking about boxing..

I agree it is time to move on. Hopefully Mcvey won't wast board space with these type of threads where he asked a question, then blows a gasket and has no where left to go but to get nasty and issue lies.
