You gotta give props to Valdez for proving he has the heart of champion. But i dunno how many of these brutal fights he can withstand. Kid is only 22 maybe he can recover. But clearly he is getting tested every fight and passing them albeit just passing the test. People forget me included that this kid is only 22 crazy..

Valdez fought with a broken Jaw crazy!

Im not a big Quigg fan but i do usually favour a Brit v a none Brit. Im usually very suspicious of people not making weight but Quigg looked genuinly gutted that he couldnt make it and wouldnt be fighting for the belt. But he didnt make weight, didnt do the morning weigh in either so glad he lost the fight. But i expected it to be more competitive than it was. Quigg looked poor. Valdez looked good.

Quigg came in as a massive welterweight weight bully. At 5-7 and 142 he was the same size a ps Carmen Basilio ffs! He is clearly shot anyway...his punches were like a drunken caveman swimming through the treacle. As for his accuracy! He needs to retire before he gets hurt.

Quigg should learn what a jab is.
